ITURA DE — Relief Has Come
A comprehensive plan to rebuild security, return government to the grassroots, unlock local industry, and secure the next generation.
One Agenda. Seven Commitments.
Our 7-Point Agenda for Ogun State
ITURA DE is more than a slogan. It is an integrated programme linking safe communities, independent local government, modern infrastructure, food security, accessible capital, and essential public services.

Pillar 1
Security, Law & Order
The Foundation of Prosperity
Without an airtight, secure society, our markets cannot thrive, our farmers cannot harvest, and our children cannot learn in peace. We will move away from reactive policing toward community-led neighbourhood protection.
The Strategic Initiative
The Ogun Safe-Streets Project
A fully integrated, state-backed funding architecture to equip and partner with neighbourhood watches, community policing outfits, and border patrol networks in high-risk zones including Sango-Ota, Ifo, Akute, and Berger.
The LADO Guarantee
Building on Hon. Ladi Adebutu’s donation of over 250 units of 500KVA transformers, a LADO administration will illuminate our streets through statewide solar-grid deployments to eliminate pockets of crime.
Pillar 2
Local Government Autonomy & Civil Service Welfare
Bringing Governance Back to the Grassroots
For too long, the wealth of our 20 Local Government Areas has been micro-managed by a centralised state machinery. True development happens when local councils have the financial power to build their own communities.
The Strategic Initiative
The Council Freedom Blueprint
Hon. Ladi Adebutu will sign a binding social contract guaranteeing financial and administrative autonomy to all 20 local government councils within his first 100 days in office.
The LADO Guarantee
Direct allocation of statutory funds to the local government level, ensuring steady salary payments, prompt promotion cycles for civil servants, and immediate local infrastructure maintenance.
Pillar 3
Urban & Border Region Renewal
Transforming Our Gateways into Modern Industrial Hubs
Ogun State shares a major commercial border belt with Lagos. Instead of treating these border towns as forgotten outposts, we will transform them into modern residential and industrial economic centres.
The Strategic Initiative
The Gateway Integration Project
Major investments in road rehabilitation, modern drainage systems, and structural link bridges across our critical border communities.
The LADO Guarantee
Standardising essential public utilities, expanding transportation grids, and providing tax incentives for corporate businesses relocating operations into Ogun State’s gateway corridors.
Pillar 4
Rural Infrastructure & Community Development
Leaving No Ward Behind
Ogun State spans 236 political wards, many of which house our underserved rural populations. We will bridge the infrastructure gap between our cities and villages.
The Strategic Initiative
The Ward-to-Wealth Network
A targeted rural development framework focused on constructing clean, accessible feeder roads that link interior agrarian communities directly to major urban markets.
The LADO Guarantee
Clean-water operations and decentralised health posts in every rural cluster, ensuring that geographic location no longer limits an Ogun citizen’s quality of life.
Pillar 5
Agricultural Revolution & Food Security
Feeding Ogun State, Fuelling the Economy
Hon. Ladi Adebutu is the founder of Solomon Kessington Agro-Allied Limited—the largest single-owned pig enterprise in West Africa. He is bringing this real-world industrial mastery into governance.
The Strategic Initiative
The Ogun Food Security Network
State-backed, guaranteed off-taker agreements through which government buys produce directly from rural farmers at fair market rates, removing middle-man exploitation and securing stable family incomes.
The LADO Guarantee
Local processing plants, advanced catfish-pond networks, and sustainable biogas technology converting farm waste into community electricity and high-yield fertiliser.
Pillar 6
Micro-Credit, Women Empowerment & Artisanal Grants
The “Baba Ijebu” Trust Ecosystem
Our market women and artisans are the heartbeat of the local economy. They need more than occasional handouts—they need access to sustainable, predictable capital.
The Strategic Initiative
Lado Micro-Cooperatives
In partnership with Deputy Governor candidate Dr. Lateefah Yemi Sowunmi-Kolapo, we will launch interest-free micro-credit clusters inside major markets across Ogun East, West, and Central.
The LADO Guarantee
Structured credit facilities, financial-literacy training, and equipment grants delivered directly to registered market unions and trade associations to systematically lift families out of poverty.
Pillar 7
Education, Healthcare & Social Services
Securing the Future of the Next Generation
Following aggressive tuition hikes affecting families across TASUED, OOU, and MAPOLY, a LADO administration will treat education as a basic civic right—not a profit venture.
The Strategic Initiative
The Lado Tuition Price-Lock
A binding institutional freeze on fees at state-owned universities and polytechnics, combined with universal campus Work-Study Grants to relieve the burden on struggling families.
The LADO Guarantee
Through the Micro-Silicon Seed Fund, young tech developers and agro-entrepreneurs will receive hardware support and direct seed capital after graduation and NYSC to build independent businesses.
